| Lately I've been really busy with school, college stuff, and work, so I havn't had a ton of time to really work on the Z, plus now days my income is tied up in several other things on top of what it was before. :( I have also been driving it a lot to school, work, basically anywhere and loving every minute of it :) With all those things, my large motor build has taken FAR longer to get to than I previously thoguth it would, and it won't be done for about a year....but here are some niffty things that I have done over the winter and what will be getting done in the next month if you are interested. First I stripped out my WHOLE interior and basically just bolted everything that wasn't bolted..any screws that were missing evc to make the car as good as new again as far as fit and finish is concerned (a couple things were bothering me latley) After that, I got my seats, arm rests, and center console lid recovered in black nova suede. I absolutley LOVE this stuff, it is really soft and it is more durable than leather, so that is two definate good things. I couldn't be happier with how they all turned out. If you are thinking about getting nova suede on anything..do it! Just took these pics after getting home from class

I had some left over nova suede also, so I made a false floor for my center console bottom and covered it in the stuff. It's in there REALLY securly and I really like it there. Just one of those things for us OCD people :)
While the seats and stuff were getting done, I dropped my subframe by myself at home with a little help from my roomie with her lowering the jack while I balanced it. While it was off, I cleaned it up really nice, replaced all bushings with aluminum and replaced all the spindle bushings to new ones as well. I also totally wrapped and secured my battery cable and anywhere were it comes close to touching anything that gets hot, I wrapped it in some 1000 degree wrap then wrapped that with 1000 degree reflective tape to protect it. I then (as most of yall know) installed my leader gears, replaced the ebrake pads and lines as well as did a couple other things on it while under there. This picture was taken today with about 1000 miles on the leader gears (LOVE THEM!)
Lastly, I finally got around to making my oil cooler bracket that I wanted to make out of some 0.050 thick aluminum if I remember right, and installed my oil cooler which so far has been doing great.
Anyways, that's all that I have done so far..I know not a ton, but this weekend, I am taking my car over to the guy who did my body work's house and he is going to fix how the side skirts come out on the bottom to make it look right. Basiclaly, he is going to pull them up and in, so they don't curve down all funky like they do. That's the only thing that bothered me about my widebody stuff. It should only take a weekend he said and he is doing it for very cheap and at his house :) Then me myself and I are going to repaint that part and in the door sills again. He said he'll be there to show me how to do that and paint it and blend it in, so I'm really excited about that. After that is done and the paint cures I will be applying that clear bra stuff to the rear quarter panels of the car as well as the side skirts myself. Already got the stuff here, just waiting now till I'm done paiting it. Anyways, once that is done, in about 2 weeks, Don (aliaz) is kindly coming over to my house to help me pull my motor. While in there, I will be buttoning up the few things that aren't right on my car such as minor boost leaks, jacked up brake hardline and low pressure PS hose. I will also be repainting the engine bay myself as well as finally getting around to relocating the last few things that I have been wanting to relocate in my engine bay (large fuse box cover ect) as well as getting my windshield replaced to a new non chipped one :) Anyways, I'll post pics in about a month of my clear bra install and of the engine bay and the whole car when it is all done. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Laters.
